The small uninhabited island Ginger Island is connected with Virgin Gorda by a chain of small islets. Most boats anchor in protected South Bay Popular dives include Alice in Wonderland and Alice's Back Door where excellent strands of brain, star and pillar corals are exhibited. Marine fish including trigger fish, rock beauties, angelfish and snapper inhabit the reefs around Ginger Island. Its interior bush is made up out of many exotic plants such as hibiscus, oleander and orchids. Other pristine bays are Toby Bay, Wedgeo Bay and Rocky Bay in the northeast. It is a secluded dive destination with a very beautiful underwater world, healthy corals and plenty of marine fish and invertebrates.
